2008 Calendar of Events

April
18-20:   Welcome back! The campground is OPEN!!
25-27:   Hot Chocolate and Cookies 1-5pm Saturday, in the store.

May                               Saturday night Bingo resumes in May!
2-4:     Yard sales around the campground. Sign up at the office if you are having a sale.
9-11:    Mother's Day Weekend. Special gift for mom upon arrival. Saturday-special activities for
             mom, Mother's Day craft with the kids
16-18:   Armed Forces Weekend. All active duty personnel and law enforcement officers (proof
             required) may take 50% off of a 2-night stay
23-25:   Memorial Day weekend. The pool is open!
30-1:    Enjoy camping! Socialize with the other campers during a carry-in dinner. Saturday, 6 pm at the
             Shelter house. Drinks provided. Please bring a covered dish to share and table service.

June
6-8:      Kids R Special Weekend. Games. Crafts. Decorate your bike, wear a costume, bring or make a
             musical instrument and join us in our marching band parade! Ice cream social in the shelter
             house at 6pm on Saturday.
13-15:   Happy Father's Day! Father's Day craft making for the kids. Pancake breakfast Saturday
             morning at the Shelter house. Adults $2, Kids $1. Dads eat FREE!
20-22:   Summer is here! We have a Wild & Crazy Weekend planned! Toliet seat horseshoes, Cookie
             eating contest, dress up for the Wildest and most Crazy costume contest, Crazy blindfolded
             obstacle course, Water balloon War
27-29:   Family time. Enjoy the weekend camping with the family. Bingo Saturday night.

July
4-6:       Happy Birthday America!
11-13:   Christmas in July. Decorate your campsite for Christmas. Games & crafts for the kids.
              Carry-in dinner and then SANTA arrives!
18-20:    Enjoy family camping time and water fun in the pool.
25-27:    Brickyard 400 race!

August
1-3:        Join us for our own Amazing Race. Teams need to sign up by August 27th.
8-10:     OH NO! It's Back To School! Have fun this weekend. Planned activities for the kids- they can
               win back to school items!
15-17:     Fiesta! Dinner served 6pm at the Shelter House.
22-24:
29-31     Labor Day Weekend

September
5-7:         Grandparent's Day. Camp with your grandchildren
12-14:     Birthday Bash! Summers Campground in 41years old!!! Celebrate with us. Customer
               Appreciation Dinner Saturday, 6pm at the Shelter House.
19-21:     Celebrate Fall. Chili Cook-off and Best Pie Contest. Carry-in Dinner
26-28:

October
3-5:
10-12:     Halloween Party! Decorate your campsite, bring your costumes and join us for fun and games
                topped off by the traditional Haunted Walk.
17-19:     Last weekend for Camping. See you in April!
